“Values are the ideals that give significance to our lives, that are reflected through the priorities that we choose, and that we act on consistently and repeatedly.”
Brian Hall, Values Shift
Organisational culture is the behavior of humans who are part of an organization and the meanings that the people reach to their actions. Culture includes the organisation values, visions, norms, working language, systems, symbols, beliefs, and habits. It is also the pattern of such collective behaviors and assumptions that are taught to new organisational members as a way of perceiving, and even thinking and feeling. Organisational culture affects the way people and groups interact with each other, with clients, and with stakeholders.
At Bridge House we are mindful that we employ people who can demonstrate a shared set of values that we feel are imperative in our company. Our values are the golden thread that ties together who we are as individuals and creates the great staff team we have here today.
