We have recently had two volunteers come to Bridge House and give up their own time to cut some of our residents’ hair.
We have had Stephanie of PinkLime Mobile Hair and Beauty come down to Bridge House to give some of our female residents’ a cut and blow dry.
We have also had a young trainee Barber, Alastair Head, who contacted Bridge House asking to volunteer as part of his training. Alastair has given up his own time on several occasions, assisted by his father who is barber of 46 years.
A hair cut can be a luxury for many, and residents who have received a haircut have been incredibly grateful to Stephanie and Alastair.
