Success for Steven

Steven first came to Bridge House in October of 2012 and stayed with us for a month before returning to live with family. He returned to Bridge House in the following January of 2013.

Steven presented at Bridge House having a chaotic lifestyle and very little focus. It was soon apparent that Steven wished to change this.

During his residency at Bridge House, Steven achieved a huge amount and was a keen footballer. Throughout his stay, he attended all football activities including the arrangement of such football games and even completed a refereeing course. His commitment to engaging in activities was commendable.

Steven moved onto independent living in January of this year and secured a tenancy on a property with his partner.

Since leaving Bridge House, Steven has gone onto progress with his football and has had trials for the England Homeless League where he has been chosen as a reserve for the team with the possibility of playing in Chile for the World Cup later this year.

Steven visits Bridge House regularly and recently attended, completed and passed a course in which he is now fully qualified to work within the railway industry.

We wish Steven all the luck for his future.
