Bridge House Female Residents

In April 2014 Bridge House opened its doors to female residents. A segregated corner of the house was sectioned off and four bed spaces were allocated for females with newly refurbished rooms. Research had been carried out prior to this which highlighted the need for good quality supported housing in the Stockton area.

The project will be fully reviewed after six months in October and decisions will be made regarding the future of the scheme. At the present time the project has been active for little over three months and the project has so far been a huge success.

The project has provided accommodation and support for 16 ladies most of which have complex needs, all of which have been vulnerable. The female residents have been supported throughout their stay and have fit in well with life at Bridge House.

We are very proud of the project so far and hope that we can continue to provide supported accommodation to the homeless females within the local area.
