On Thursday 15th October, two of our Support Workers, Kevin and Emma, attended a Placement Fair at Durham University for the first year medical students.
During placement we provide an opportunity for students to spend some time at Bridge House to understand our client group and gain an awareness of the multiple complex needs we are presented with.
The placement fair gives students the opportunity to find out information about the service we provide and whether they feel they would benefit from a placement at Bridge House.
This year we were joined by Bilal and Sam who are now in their second year after spending some time during their placement at Bridge House. It was useful for the first year students to be able to speak with Bilal and Sam about their experience.
