Saltburn Primary School

In July, two of our staff members, Michael and Victoria attended Saltburn Primary School to deliver an assembly to the year 3, 4 and 5 students in relation to homelessness.

The presentation was to raise awareness in young people with regards to the effects of being homeless, what it is like for a person to have nowhere to live and how people can become homeless.

Victoria and Michael spoke to the students about what we do at Bridge House and how we support people who have nowhere to live.

The presentation was a huge success and the students engaged well, asking lots of questions.

As a result, the students, children and staff all got together to collect clothes, toiletries, tea, coffee and sugar to donate to our residents.

Thank you to all who helped collect for our residents – we have very grateful for your kind donations.
